MANUAL DE PERFUMARIA BOTÂNICA NATURAL

Acordo sempre muito cedo. É a melhor hora para contemplar o dia, o céu, o tempo, as aves que também acordam, a natureza. Mas desde fevereiro essa contemplação era dividida com perfumaria. Estava traduzindo o Manual de Perfumaria Botânica Natural, de Justine Crane.

Este livro tão querido, pioneiro no assunto, pois é um manual prático de perfumaria, coisa que não há, em português.

Depois que terminei a tradução, revisei o livro inteiro junto com a Marian D'el Vecchio (grande companheira), que ia editando, capítulo por capítulo, e juntas concluímos todo o trabalho na semana passada. Enviamos para a autora, Justine, que já colocou à venda!

Está valendo! Está bacana! É gostoso de ler e fácíl de compreeender.

Fala sobre a história da perfumaria; das normas de segurança internacionais; de vidros e apetrechos e instrumentos que se usa para fazer perfume; da matéria-prima que o perfumista botânico natural usa; da formação da paleta de trabalho e avaliação dos aromas; métodos de composição; produtos que se podem fazer usando perfume; como compor um perfume; como trabalhar e vender.

Esgota o assunto, pelo menos no momento em que a perfumaria botânica natural se encontra.

Adorei traduzir, adorei estudar e agradeço a Justine mais esta grande e linda oportunidade.

I always wake up very early. It is the best hour to contemplate the day, the sky, the weather, the birds that are waking up, Nature. But since Februrary this contemplation was divided with Perfumery. I was translating Justine Crane's Notebook of Natural Botanical Perfumery into Portuguese.

This book is very dear, pioneer on the subject, because it is a practical manual of natural perfumery, thing that does not exist in Portuguese.

After I finished the translation, I revised it all with Marian D'el Vecchio (great friend and fellow perfumer), that edited it all chapter by chapter and together we finishe the job last week, sent it to the author Justine and she ZAP! put it on sale.

It is excellent! It is beautiful! It is good to read and easy to understand.

Talks about the History of Perfumery; the international security norms; all the instruments you need to make perfumes; the raw materials that  natural perfumers use; how to build up your pallette and how to evaluate your aromas; methods of composition; things that you can do using perfumes; how to make a composition; how to work and sell.

It closes the subject, speaking of it all, at least at the point Natural Botanical Perfumery is today.

I love to have done this translation, I love to study in it and I thank to Justine for this beautiful opportunity.
